PRESS RELEASE: OLD STUDENT OF LUSESC ASSOCIATION (LUMINARY SCHOOL ALUMNI) ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING/END OF YEAR PARTY 2025 : A CALL TO SERVE AND GIVE BACK.

THEME: THE ESSENCE OF AN ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Speaking passionately at the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND END OF YEAR PARTY held on the 25th December 2025 at KFT PLACE WARRI DELTA STATE, ROTN. COMR. OSESUA M KELVIN CEO Of OSESUA INVESTMENT LIMITED who also is the immediate past president of the OLD STUDENT OF LUSESC( LUMINARY SCHOOL ALUMNI) reminded members that the association represents more than a shared past. It is a family built on values, memories, and responsibility. He encouraged everyone to give back in whatever capacity they can, stressing that the progress of the association depends on the collective effort of its member.

As a pioneering member and founding member also, Drawing from his experience in leadership and service, having been in service for the association for 21 years as executive holding different positions and heading different committees before serving as president from 2021 -2024, he emphasized that strong associations are sustained by active participation, loyalty, and a willingness to support one another. His message resonated deeply, serving as a timely reminder that when members stand together, the association grows stronger and more impactful. The association started 2005 and has grown stronger since inception.

In his words:
As your former President, my wish for this association is simple: may we continue to grow in numbers, but more importantly, may we grow in our commitment to one another.
Please, join me in raising a glass (or a hand). To the memories that shaped us, the friendships that sustain us, and a New Year filled with even greater achievements for every one of us.

To those who gave anonymously, and those who rallied their classmates to give—thank you for leading by example. You have reminded us that being an alumnus is a lifelong commitment to excellence.
Please, let’s give a standing ovation to the donors who made this year’s project a reality.”

Reflecting on the motto of the association; “MAY OUR LIGHT CONTINUE TO SHINE”
He thank the current president MR GABRIEL UKULI and his executives for the effort and commitment shown towards the growth of the association.

He also commended tha planning committee for putting up a remarkable event.
